Performers
The Bath International Dance Festival is a showcase for top international performers as well as local dance artists. You can read a little more about them in advance here.
Cecily Charlton

Aidan Davis (Britains Got Talent):

The wonderfully charismatic self-taught child street-dance star of Britains Got Talent visits the festival for the first time and is a true inspiration for what can be achieved with determination and hard work.

Swing Latino:

The five-time world champion salsa dance team has sent one of its finest couples to represent them at the festival. The incredible energy of Nilson Castro and Deisy Roldan will bring Cali Salsa dance to the SouthWest in spectacular fashion. They have even been placed runner up in the world in the individual cabaret for their breathtaking choreography... just don't try this at home! Supported by Uk Colombian Holiday Company, Salsa in Colombia

Ballet Black

Vincent & Flavia

f.a.b. - The Detonators:

Stylish contemporary dancers Tiago Gambogi and Margaret Swallow treat the festival goers to a selection of their acclaimed dance from their UK touring show and other works. Be prepared for surprises as these two gifted performers have earned a rightful reputation with breaking down barriers in dance - you cannot help but be drawn in to their performances. Don't miss this special treat.

Neil Jones and Ekaterina Sokolova:

This couple have literally sent ripples through the world of Latin American dance with their dramatic rise to the top. An exciting and beautifully artistic couple treat us to a true Latin American showcase of their 5 dances currently ranking them in all of the world's major finals. If you've seen Strictly Come Dancing, this couple exude even more quality with their amazing dance. The festival would like to thank Neil and Katya for taking time from their hectic World-wide travel schedule to visit us and showcase their dancing.

Bath Minuet Company

Jonathan & Hazel

Bongo Bolero:

Giving a completely different perspective to dance in the conventional, upright sense, Bongo Bolero are talented dance acrobats. With incredible strength, skill and artistry, just sit back and watch them achieve what seems impossible during the Dancestars Show. An unmissable rare twist on dance that has to been seen to be believed.

Tango In Action:

Alexandra Wood and Geraldo Escobar take us through a dynamic and seductive journey through the Argentine Tango. Recently returning from Buenos Aires, this couple have Argentina and its World Heritage dance in their blood.

Bathampton Morrismen

Charareh

Persian Dancers with Charareh Pourzand:

The Persian Dancers were the guests of the Dancestars show last year and we're delighted to say you can see more of them in the Abbey Square once again this year. Born in the Azerbaijan province and trained from age 4 in renowned folkloric Persian schools of Dance in Iran, Charareh and her dancers treat us to her teaching and perform some authentic examples of this wonderful dance style.
