By Car

The centre of Bath is within easy walking distance for able-bodied people using the park & ride or any city centre car park. Park and Ride facilities are only open Monday-Saturday 06.30 - 20.30. Park and rides will not operate for our evening and Sunday performances although the University Park & Ride car park will remain open without a bus service.

From Bristol: Take the A4 into Bath. To park in the city centre, continue along the A4 to Charlotte Street car park or try the popular car parks on North Parade Road.

From London: Leave the M4 at Junction 18 and take the A46 towards Bath. Continue into Bath on the A46 and then the A4, following the "All Attractions" signs to Charlotte Street car park or try the popular car parks on North Parade Road.

From the north and west: Leave the M4 motorway at junction 18 and follow the signs for Bath. Then follow the "all attractions" traffic signs to Charlotte Street Car Park or try the popular car parks on North Parade Road.

From Salisbury: Take the A36 into Bath and follow the "All Attractions" signs that lead to Charlotte Street car park or try the popular car parks on North Parade Road.

From the South West: via the M5 and M4 approaching Bath from the north. Charlotte Street car park is clearly marked from each direction or try the popular car parks on North Parade Road.

By Train

Bath is well connected by rail with its station, Bath Spa, just a few minutes walk from the heart of the city centre. There are high-speed links to Paddington although from London it is sometimes cheaper to go via Waterloo and Reading. There are regular southerly trains to Southampton and beyond, and Birmingham and the North is well served after a change at Bristol Temple Meads, just a few minutes from Bath Spa by train.

By Bus or Coach

There are many local and national bus services operating into Bath. National Express operates a regular bus service from London Victoria and also a direct service from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The dropping-off point is at the temporary bus station in Avon Street.

By Air

Bristol International is the nearest airport, with flights across the UK, into Europe and a limited trans-atlantic service. There are cars for hire and Bath is about 45 minutes drive away. The aiport is also accessible by bus via Bristol Temple Meads, or via bus then train through the same station.
